Bacteriostatic Water — Reconstitution Diluent
BAC Water is sterile water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. The preservative keeps the solution sterile across multiple withdrawals from the same vial, making it the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides.
Why BAC Water over plain sterile water:
- Multi-draw compatible. Plain sterile water must be discarded after one use. BAC Water doesn’t.
- Extends usable life of reconstituted peptide vials
- Compatible with all standard lyophilized research peptides
- One 10mL vial reconstitutes multiple peptide vials depending on target concentration
